Wales will beat England to win Euro 2016 – it’s official

I grew up watching our neighbours from across the bridge playing in World cups and Euro competitions year in and year out.
With the hope of one day we (Wales) would make it  to a major tournament and now we are just one week away from the UEFA Euro 2016

Wales’ first major tournament since 1958 and yes I’m very very very excited.

I have spent many afternoon’s plotting out the journey’s Wales could make to the final and I thought I would share the following one with you all. It’s my favourite!

Looking at the groups
Wales start off with what I think will be the easiest game of the group. Slovakia – 3 points here!
Then its on to the Big one, England on the Thursday 16th June 2pm (Yes I booked the day off work) – Happily take a point here.
Last game of the group is Russia – Happily take a point here too.

1. England
2. Wales
3. Russia
4.Slovakia

  • Last 16 they will face Iceland
  • Quarter Finals will be the easy task of the French
  • Semi Final will bring the Germans

And  that brings me to the final…. England  again!
Wales win on Penalties, I have heard England are not very good at them.

EURO 2016 Champions WALES.

Before you ask me, “What have I been drinking?”

Yes we maybe be a 80/1 outside shot with some bookies and a few will be backing Chris Coleman’s men to go all the way but lets think back. Leicester City just won the premier league and the bookies had them at 5000/1

“I honestly believe if we have a bit of luck along the way, and play our football, we have a great chance of winning. Why not?” Bale told the BBC’s Sport Wales

So we here at MHM have put together this fancy looking wall-chart for you to keep up to date with the tournament.
